Lazio signing Javier Garrido says he left Manchester City for the good of his career.
Garrido joined Lazio over the weekend days after Aleksandar Kolarov arrived at City.
The Spanish left-back said: "I was very happy there for three years, but I have the desire to play and to be a protagonist.
"Kolarov and Bridge are there now and there was no longer a place for me."
