Lazio signing Candreva denies being Roma fan

New Lazio signing Antonio Candreva denies he's a fan of AS Roma.

The 24-year-old moved to the capital outfit from Cesena last month, but he wasn’t welcomed by all fans who believed he had the Giallorossi in his heart.

“I have nothing to hide,” the midfielder stated on Wednesday. “I’m not a Roma fan, I left home at the age of 14 and I have never been in the Curva Sud.

“I’m just thinking about playing for Lazio now and honouring the shirt that I am wearing.”
