Lazio have struck a deal for Danubio striker Gonzalo Barreto.

The teenager from Uruguay has signed an agreement of five years with the capital club.

Barreto will move to Lazio when he turns 18 and confirmed: "I am very happy to have this opportunity to join one of the biggest clubs in the world.

"The contract has been signed but I will only arrive in January. I cannot wait."
