Former Lazio goalkeeper Angelo Peruzzi is set to resist a playing comeback to take up a role with Roma.

Corriere dello Sport says QPR are the latest club to express interest in coaxing Peruzzi out of retirement, but he is in talks with Roma about a director's role at the Giallorossi.

Peruzzi's move to Roma will not to go down well with Lazio fans, with the fans' favourite having made a public plea to club president Claudio Lotito that he would welcome a role off the field with his old club - but to no avail.
