Lazio midfielder Mark Bresciano has reportedly become a target for Serie A rivals Genoa. The 30-year old Australian international has appeared just 11 times for the Biancocelesti since his move from Palermo last European summer and it is suggested that a move could be in order this January.

CalcioNews24 reports that Bresciano could be involved in a swap deal for Genoa striker Giuseppe Sculli for the remainder of the season.

Lazio technical director Igli Tare said both clubs were keen to deal but just had to make sure it could work for the benefit of all parties involved.

"If it is possible to do this so be it," he said. "The timeframe is not defined, it may take a week. We hope to find a way to do this.

"The problem to solve is not about the will of the players, the clubs just have to find the right way."
