Lazio president Claudio Lotito is ready to spend big in the January market.

Tgcom says should Delio Rossi guide Lazio beyond the group stages of the Champions League, Lotito will table a bid for Boca Juniors pair Matias Silvestre and Sebastian Battaglia.

Defender Silvestre and attacking midfielder Battaglia attracted enquiries from Lotito over the summer and he will follow that up with a £10 million offer for the pair during the winter market - should Lazio's Champions League campaign prove successful.
