Lazio president Claudio Lotito insists coach Delio Rossi could still be in charge next season.

Rossi is considering resigning, but Lotito says: "Who said Rossi is no longer the Coach of Lazio? Until June 30 he remains our tactician and there is still hope he can remain.

"It's the same as when people said I would not complete the permanent signing of Mauro Zarate.

"I have never spoken to other Coaches and, for example, Zenga went to Palermo when newspapers expected him here.

"The priority is that Lazio get the best possible manager for the team and the future of the club."
