Lazio president Claudio Lotito is thrilled with their deal for Miroslav Klose.

Klose joins Lazio on a free transfer from Bayern Munich.

"He is a signing of international quality and we won't stop here," said Lotito.

"I've heard from Edy Reja and the Coach is really enthusiastic about having Klose, especially as he was part of our plans for next season."

The striker, with 61 goals in 109 caps for Germany, has signed a two-year contract with the option for a third.

He will earn €2m a season but that could rise given that there are numerous bonus clauses included in his agreement.
