Lazio president Claudio Lotito is sorry to see Massimo Moratti step down at Inter Milan.
Moratti has been succeeded by new club owner Erick Thohir at Inter.
"I'm sorry to see the end of the Moratti era," Lotito told reporters. "His management of Inter was a romantic story.
"Moratti is one of the real gentlemen of football - he has given so much to the game in Italy, not just from an economic point of view, but also the style on the pitch.
"I hope the new owners can also give that little bit extra emotionally."
