Lazio president Claudio Lotito is excited by this season's Serie A and is convinced Italian football is back to it's best.
"It is beautiful and entertaining," Lotito enthused in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss. "It is composed of reinforced teams."
On Lazio's campaign thus far, Lotito added: "We need never underestimate an opponent. Staying humble and cohesive, we want to obtain three points.
"It is true that there have been many injuries at Lazio, but the sheer number of personnel at our disposal has allowed us to provide for our absentees in the best way. We can play on the same level as every team."
And he also said of Mauro Zarate: "We are speaking of a player with enormous potential.
"A dogged, determined player who never accepts defeat and sacrifices himself in the middle of the pitch. In the space of a year he will become a champion at international level."
