Lazio president Claudio Lotito is expected to make an announcement today over the future of sports director Walter Sabatini.

Lotito met with Sabatini yesterday at Villa San Sebastiano, close to the head office of the Lazio president, to discuss the sports chief's resignation, which was submitted on Saturday.

Lotito is keen for Sabatini to carry on and should say something today about the situation.
