Lazio president Claudio Lotito has cooled talk of winning the Scudetto.

The Romans are second in the standings, just three points behind Milan, but Lotito is maintaining his calm.

"The Scudetto is a word which isn't part of our vocabulary," he noted. "I'm just satisfied with how the players are performing on the pitch.

"We are just taking each game as it comes and if we can keep up these levels then the fans will be satisfied.

"Each game must see us give our best, against any opponent."
