Lazio president Lotito insists Man City target Kolarov could stay

Lazio president Claudio Lotito says they're prepared to keep hold of Manchester City target Aleksandar Kolarov.

Despite reported interest from Real Madrid and Manchester City, President Claudio Lotito has told fans that the left-back is not definitely heading for an exit.

"Kolarov is not a player who Lazio have put up for sale," Lotito declared.

"Saying that, we will of course evaluate any offers that we receive in the interests of our club, the player and the potential buying club.

"We have already made an important series of deals in the transfer market. Lazio have spent €17m on Sergio Floccari and Alvaro Gonzales, plus another player who is about to sign."
