Lazio president Claudio Lotito has defended captain Stefano Mauri over match-fixing allegations.
The Biancocelesti owner has insisted the veteran attacker is not worried about questioning.
"Mauri is very serene and peaceful," he told reporters. "We are talking about events that happened three years ago.
"It's 2013/14 - the team cannot be penalized after three years because of a third person who reports something heard by others.
"It's all complicated. It threatens to overwhelm the credibility of the whole system."
