Lazio president Claudio Lotito was in London yesterday attempting to sell Mauro Zarate to Tottenham.
Spurs had failed with a bid of €20 million for the former Birmingham City striker on Monday, but Lotito was encouraged enough to travel to London for more talks, says TMW.
Despite his presence, nothing could be struck and Lotito left White Hart Lane empty handed.
