Lazio are chasing Palermo defender Andrea Barzagli.
La Repubblica says Lazio president Claudio Lotito has been in talks with Palermo since January for the Italy international.
Palermo supremo Maurizio Zamparini has declared he intends to cash in on Barzagli and Cristian Zaccardo in the summer and Lazio are in pole position for the former.
