CSKA Moscow forward Keisuke Honda's proposed move to Lazio may have to wait until the European summer according to his agent.
The Rome-based Serie A outfit were hoping to bring the Japan international to the Stadio Olimpico this January but both clubs in question have been unable to come to an agreement.
It is believed that Lazio have offered 2million for a six-month loan plus 10million for a buyout but CSKA are prepared to hold firm and wait for an outright offer of 10million.
Honda's agent, Maikel Stevens, indicated to the Corriere dello Sport late last week that the move could get done but perhaps not until the end of the season.
"But we're still unsure whether the transfer will take place now or in the summer.""Lazio is a great option for Honda," said Stevens.
