A move to Lazio for West Bromwich Albion defender Gabriel Tamas is up-in-the-air.
John Kurtland, the player's English agent, insisted that Tamas' prospects of first-team football would be key to his future.
"We are still trying to agree all of the matters," said Kurtland to the Birmingham Mail.
"Gabriel just wants to play first-team football - whether that's at West Brom or a club like Lazio, where one of his Romanian team-mates, Stefan Radu, also plays.
"But at this moment in time Gabriel is still a West Brom player and is still preparing to return for pre-season training with West Brom.
"If a deal can be agreed between West Brom and Lazio then we will take it from there."
