Lazio move for Cisse confirmed by Panathinaikos
Lazio have stepped up talks with Panathinaikos for striker Djibril Cisse.
It is believed they have offered €5m for the player, although Panathinaikos are hoping for €6m.
“At this moment the economic situation is not the best, so to keep going we need to sell some of our important players and replace them with promising youngsters,” Vice-President Dimitris Gontikas told Cittaceleste.
“We are in negotiations with Lazio, but at this moment in time we have no intention of revealing further details.”
