Lazio midfielder Cristian Ledesma has blasted Roma captain Francesco Totti over his 'thumbs down' gesture after their derby win.

Ledesma joined Lazio coach Edy Reja in calling for Totti to be suspended.

"You have to accept defeat but also learn how to celebrate when you win," said Ledesma. "It is all about sportsmanship and style, someone is lacking it here.

"I think Totti should have been sent off in the first half, maybe another referee would have done it…

"I got so angry when I saw red myself because I felt the referee was going against us. His attitude really annoyed me."
