Lazio are closing on a deal for West Ham United midfielder Ravel Morrison.

The Daily Mail says the Italians have been offered the West Ham midfielder, but are aware they cannot buy him now owing to UEFA regulations.

Morrison has played for West Ham and Cardiff and would not be allowed to sign for a club in another country during this window.

Lazio now hope to secure Morrison to a pre-contract ahead of a summer Bosman switch.
