Lazio launching bid for Arsenal midfielder Arshavin

Lazio are chasing Arsenal midfielder Andrey Arshavin.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Lazio president Claudio Lotito is preparing a bid for the Russia international.

Lazio have already made room for Arshavin by sending Guiseppe Sculli back to Genoa.

The stumbling block won't be the price, but Arshavin himself, as the Russian wants to stay in England in order for his children to gain UK passports.
