Lazio hero Paolo di Canio has mocked Roma icon Francesco Totti after his retirement.

Di Canio was asked if Italy has lost something with Totti no longer playing.

But he scoffed: “It's no great loss because if you tell Totti there are tensions in the Middle East, he'll assume that a fight has broken out on the right side of midfield.

“Why would I have a relationship with him? I have no relationship with him, and honestly I'm not interested in having one.

“It can happen that you don't have any contact with teammates, never mind him. It's a very normal thing."
