Lazio goalkeeper Strakosha: God helped me deny Dybala penalty

Lazio goalkeeper Thomas Strakosha is proud of his injury-time penalty save in victory over Juventus on Saturday.

Paulo Dybala was denied in the 94th minute.

“I was really upset when they awarded the penalty, because it was the 94th minute and Juve didn't deserve an equaliser," Strakosha said.

“Along with the staff, we had studied Dybala's penalties and figured he would go to the right side. I had also spoken to my father (former Albania international goalkeeper Foto Strakosha) and finally got to save a penalty.

“At those moments, all sorts of things go through your mind and God helped me to save it. This was one of the top five saves in my career.

“The team had fought so hard for the win that I felt I absolutely needed to save it, because it would've been a real shame to only get a point out of it.

“We've got to keep our feet on the ground and prove ourselves again every time, because all it takes is one bad game and everything changes."
