Lazio eyeing Real Madrid playmaker Van der Vaart

Lazio are interested in Real Madrid midfielder Rafael van der Vaart.

Van der Vaart is expected to leave Real in January and has been linked with Everton.

However, Lazio president Claudio Lotito is also keen and will move for the Dutchman if he can find a buyer for contract rebel Goran Pandev.
