Stefan Radu's agent is claiming the Lazio defender has been targeted by Manchester City. "Stefan has another two years on his contract with Lazio but there is a valid offer from Manchester City," Victor Becali told adevarul.ro.
"Coach Roberto Mancini knows the Italian championship and Radu, and when City played in Timisoara in the Europa League, Mancini met my brother (to talk about Radu)."
The Romanian defender, who turns 24 on Friday, can play at centre-half and left-back, and joined Lazio in 2008 from Dinamo Bucharest after a successful loan spell.
"Radu is 24 years old, last year he played well and this year he's playing very well," Becali added to tuttomercatoweb.
"In my opinion he is therefore definitely ready for a big club like Juventus, AC Milan or Inter, but we haven't talked with them."
