Lazio have made contact with Sevilla about a price for striker Javier Chevanton.
The Uruguay international is on the outer at Sevilla and the Spanish Liga club are keen to find a buyer for the forward.
Lazio coach Delio Rossi knows Chevanton from their days together at Lecce and the Rome club have made a tentative inquiry about his situation.
