Lazio have contacted Chelsea about goalkeeper Carlo Cudicini's availability.

Gazzetta dello Sport says Lazio want to take Cudicini on-loan after their Argentine goalkeeper signing, Juan Pablo Carrizo, had his application for an Italian passport rejected.

Lazio would need Chelsea to cover a percentage of Cudicini's wages to bring him to Rome.
