Lazio coach Delio Rossi says they must secure striker Mauro Zarate to a permanent deal.

"An important club has to keep its best players," said Rossi. "Zarate is a talent who has improved a great deal since he arrived here.

"Before he played for himself, but now he also works for his teammates and he is the first to benefit from that."
