Lazio coach Rossi tells Zarate to buck up his ideas

Lazio coach Delio Rossi has told Mauro Zarate to buck up his ideas after his strop at being hooked during last night's game with Juventus.

Zarate's behaviour infuriated Lazio chief Igli Tare, while Rossi said afterwards: "It is normal that he was unhappy, but I am the coach and the choices are mine. He is the player and must accept the substitutions.

"Indeed, he should be happy for having played 70 minutes, because in this squad there are people who play less. He's young and has time to learn how to better control his anger. He must do this, because everything he does is picked up by the TV cameras."

Asked about Zarate's blow-up, Lazio president Claudio Lotito said: "The decisions of the coach are not up for discussion. Then, however, we will see at the end of the season if they were right or wrong ..."
