Lazio coach Edy Reja has moved to end his row with fans after a difficult week.
Reja offered his resignation midweek due to the tension with supporters, who he called "a rotten frame" for the Biancocelesti picture.
"Let's not go back over that issue. I just hope the fans stay close to the team. I expect the supporters to provide a wonderful frame for the match at the Stadio Olimpico, as what really counts is Lazio.
"My problem was down to a moment of psychological tiredness and disappointment. The rapport with the lads has always been perfect. I decided to plug my ears to certain criticism and carry on.
"We did well to win at Cesena and must now give some consistency to that performance," continued Reja.
"This is going to be a very important game and I want to see the squad showing great intensity. Palermo tend to clam up and go on the counter with speed and quality.
"Miroslav Klose is very humble and an example for everyone with the way he works for the team.
"Hernanes has won a recall for Brazil, which is wonderful for him and will fire him up even more."
