Lazio coach Edy Reja is hoping they've turned the corner after yesterday's 2-0 defeat of Cagliari.
Tommaso Rocchi and Sergio Floccari struck Lazio's goals to give them some breathing space from the dropzone.
Reja said: "This time away allowed us to talk and get to know each other better. I saw some important signs from the team and the squad is coming back together.
"Now we need some healthy grit and aggression to get ourselves out of this situation completely.
"We've got to attack our opponents and then go on the counter, something I hadn't seen before. I hope my players can continue like this."
