Lazio coach Reja: Conte's Juventus tactics had me laughing

Lazio coach Edy Reja says he burst out laughing over the tactics employed by Juventus coach Antonio Conte.

Conte raised many eyebrows when his revolutionary approach was suggested over the summer.

“I really laughed when people talked about Juventus and the 4-2-4,” revealed Reja.

“I wish that were the case, but it’s tough to support four men on the attack giving reference points to your opponents.

“We will be facing a side that attacks with three men, plus two midfielders who are very good at slotting in, especially Claudio Marchisio.

“It is going to be a great game on Saturday night and a new one, as I’ve never faced Conte before.

“He is doing very well and has brought character to Juventus, which nobody had been able to do in recent years. He can also count on quality players like Stephan Lichtsteiner and Mirko Vucinic.”
