Lazio coach Stefano Pioli would welcome Ravel Morrison to the club's Formello HQ this week.
The former Manchester United midfielder had his contract with West Ham United terminated by mutual consent yesterday.
Morrison has already committed to a Bosman move with Lazio and could join Pioli's squad for the remainder of the season as a non-playing member.
"These are choices that belong to the club," said Pioli.
"Certainly it would be an advantage for us to have him for a few months in advance."
