Lazio boss Vladimir Petkovic is delighted with their record-breaking season start.
The Biancocelesti are joint top of the table with Napoli and Juventus, as this is the first time since 1974-75 that this club has won the opening three games.
"We have made steps forward," said the Coach following today's 3-1 victory away to Chievo.
"We played well against an aggressive opponent in a difficult arena and deserved the win.
"Abdoullay Konko had a slight muscular problem, so I preferred not to risk him for the second half.
"What are our objectives? This is a solid squad that can improve a great deal. We must be concentrated game by game.
"It is pleasing to receive positive signals, but we must also keep our feet on the ground. The results are earned with hard work and sacrifice."
