Lazio coach Simone Inzaghi has confirmed Wesley Hoedt is on his way to Southampton.
The defender missed Lazio's 0-0 draw with Spal.
Inzaghi stated: “The boy wants to play more regularly. For him, the space he had here wasn't enough.
"An unhappy player cannot stay."
