Lazio coach Edy Reja admits he could've walked away after rowing with fans earlier this season.
His rapport with the fans has changed after winning the first Rome derby of his career and they are now just one point off the top of the table.
“I went through some very difficult moments due to the continual protests and was ready to walk away,” confessed Reja.
“Now, with the worst behind me, I thank the President for having helped me in that period.
“Is our objective the Scudetto? For the moment, the objective is to win at Cagliari. As for the rest, all I can say is that we want to finish as high up the table as possible.”
