Lazio coach Davide Ballardini has hit out at his board after defeat to Catania yesterday.
The Rome club have dropped into the bottom three with Ballardini's job now on the line.
He rapped: "There are two problems here. The first is that the squad is very large and it doesn't help the work of a Coach.
"The second is that we needed a different type of player in midfield, someone who was better with the ball and able to supply the strikers.
"We did bring in some defenders of experience and quality, but it was in midfield where we needed different elements. This is what we're missing."
