Lazio closing on deal for CSKA Moscow striker Honda

Lazio are closing on a deal for CSKA Moscow striker Keisuke Honda.

Sky Italia says Lazio have raised their proposal to €14m and could secure the Japanese international midfielder very soon.

“I have spoken about Honda to the Lazio directors,” confirmed CSKA Moscow President Yevgeny Giner.

“The negotiations are in progress, but so far we have not reached an agreement. We’ll see what happens over the next few days, but I certainly can’t say the deal is practically done.”
