Lazio sporting director Igli Tare is delighted their gamble in signing former Bayern Munich striker Miroslav Klose has paid off.
Klose has so far netted 10 times for the club from 17 appearances in all competitions.
Tare remarked: "We have already nicknamed him 'Emperor Klose', he has a mentality that is absolutely about winning. [The nickname] is in appreciation for the way in which he finds motivation to train during the week and the self-sacrifice he has on the field.
"The President believed in me to follow through with this to the end. It was not easy because Klose is of a certain age and last year he had not played regularly for Bayern. Yes, I feel a bit proud because we were the only ones who believed in Miro's potential."
