Lazio sports chief Walter Sabatini admits landing a new defensive signing is now a priority following injuries to Cribari and Lorenzo Stendardo.

"If before we were concentrating on selling players before buying again," reasoned Sabatini, "now everything has changed and the market has reopened for us.

"Signing a defender is now a priority and I will speak with the coach [Delio Rossi] tomorrow."
