Lazio chief Igli Tare insists Lorenzo De Silvestri will be staying.

"The intention of my club is that of keeping the player, while De Silvestri, up until now, hasn't expressed his desire [to do the same]," Tare told pianetagenoa1893.net.

"Anyway, we are convinced that the relationship can continue also because he is still under contract with Lazio.

"There aren't any negotiations in progress [with Genoa], but the relationship between the two clubs is very good."
