Lazio captain Rocchi confident of beating drop
Lazio captain Tommaso Rocchi insists they're too good to go down.
The Rome club are now just one place clear of the relegation zone.
“After the defeat to Bari we were all very disappointed and sorry for the many fans who cheered us on until the end,” said Rocchi.
That loss against Bari prompted the club to lock away its players in a ‘ritiro’ – a pre-match training camp.
“Going into the ritiro was the right decision to rediscover our calm and concentration to get out of this situation.
“We all strongly believe in safety and are convinced we’ll do it. We have got to, we want to, we must do at all costs.”
