Lazio boss Claudio Lotito believes his side deserved a point in Sunday's Roman derby against AS Roma which ended 1-0 in favour of the giallorossi. Speaking to Radio KissKiss, Lotito said: "I have always said that football is just a series of small incidents.
"I would say that 50 per cent of games are decided by certain small events. It could have been a different result against Roma but some things just didn't go our way.
"We played some great football, especially in the second half. We showed that we aren't inferior to any side.
"I think a draw would have been a fair result. We were the better team in every department, but we just didn't score."
