Lazio coach Edy Reja is staying calm after victory over Brescia made them outright Serie A leaders.
The slender 1-0 win over Brescia was secured by Stefano Mauri from an inspired Hernanes through ball.
"We hope to continue like this and are aware we are a good side with a quality squad up to the task," said the Coach.
"I don't know if this team is built for the top of the table, we'll see where we are mid-season. I can say that today, in the final 15 minutes, we showed great maturity.
"We played a difficult game to beat an impressive Brescia side, running very few risks. During the week we practice these runs off the ball and Stefano is a master.
"We are satisfied and happy, as this is the right reward for these players who never gave in, not even during pre-season training when nobody believed in us.
"This squad has so many quality options in midfield. Just thing that today I replaced Hernanes and Mauro Zarate with Mark Bresciano and Tommaso Rocchi."
