Lazio boss Edy Reja was pleased with his strikers in their 2-2 draw at AC Milan.
Debutants Miroslav Klose and Djibril Cisse both were on the scoresheet.
Reja said: "The first game was special. They interacted well and concluded important performances with goals.
"They can do even better when they become more familiar [with the League]. Klose played twice with Germany [in the international break] and at half-time had an ankle problem, but he chose to stay on the pitch for as long as he did.
"Cisse is always looks to the goal, never thinks twice, and his decisions are sharp. When he takes possession of the ball he is determined."
