Lazio are struggling to agree a fee with FC Cluj for winger Sebastian Dubarbier.
The Romanians rate the Argentine at £8 million and Lazio so far have tabled a bid of £2.5 million for the midfielder.
Cluj president Iuliu Muresan said: "The player wants to go to Lazio, but we will not sell the Argentine for just any price.
"Dubarbier here is happy and we have proposed an increase of his contract from £120,000 to £250,000 per season."
