Lazio have made a move for Bayer Leverkusen attacking midfielder Tranquillo Barnetta.
The Switzerland international has declared he intends to leave Bayer this summer and has been linked with Arsenal and Fulham.
Lazio president Claudio Lotito held talks with Bayer sports chief Rudi Voller on Saturday about Barnetta's situation.
