Lazio announce signing of Lille's Lichsteiner

Lazio have announced the signing of Lille wing-back Stephan Lichsteiner.

The 24-year-old has been training with the Serie A side over the past few days, but his move to the Italian capital was only made official on Monday.

A statement on Lille's website read: "Lazio and Lille have reached an agreement which completely satisfies the two parties and he will be transferred before the end of his contract which was set to run until summer 2009."
