Lazio striker Mauro Zarate has declared Francesco Totti is finished as a major player. Totti, the Roma captain, has been critical of Zarate's form this season.

But the Argie snapped back, declaring: "He has spoken a lot, but you forget that he is already finished. It's 10 derbies since he last scored a goal.

"It seems strange that he always attacks me. I don't answer him. I prefer to do what I have to do, that is play and score goals."
